“Together Again”

Donald Ellsworth Miller, 94, of Wooster died on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

He was born March 13, 1929 in Moreland to Elmer Ellsworth and Wilma Mowrer Miller.  On August 27, 1951, he married Lolita Marie Graber.  She preceded him in death in 2010.

Donald retired from the University of Arizona where he worked in the maintenance department.  He had also owned and operated R.E. Miller Trucking in Moreland.  He was an all-around handyman who enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and rocking in his rocking chair.  Donald served his country in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his children LaDona (Ted) Jones and Roger Miller both of Wooster; grandchildren Nathaniel Wilhelm, Joshua Parks and Brent (Brittany) Jones all of Wooster; great-grandchildren Victor Jones, Hunter Jones and Tyonna-Marley Jones; sisters June Weaver of Fredericksburg, Margery Houston of Wooster and Janet Hoffer of Ohio.

Along with his wife, Donald was preceded in death by his daughter Christina Miller; his parents and siblings Wanda Miller, Roger Gene Miller, Roy P. Miller, Ralph Miller and Virginia Gilson.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
