Clara “Fay” Keim, 80, of Wooster passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

She was born on November 4, 1942, in Ft. Gay, WV to Scott and Julia Billups Dean.

Fay retired from Rubbermaid and had been working currently for Avalanche Commercial Cleaning. She was an avid teddy bear collector, a dog lover, and loved shopping. Fay especially loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Brenda (Mike) Beichler, Lisa (Michael) Shotts, Dennis Dingey and Jason (Jamie) Harper; grandchildren Josh, Andrea, Kara, Delaney, Drew, Sophia, Haley, Hanna, Joe, and Nora; 5 great grandchildren.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Charles, Ted, Paul and Thomas Dean; sister Esther Kitts

Per Fay’s wishes there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  2. Condolences to the family! Fay was a sweet lady!!!! Met her when I worked at Aqualityfacility cleaning Dr’s offices and we just instantly clicked! Still can’t believe she’s gone. Rest in peace lady!

  5. I’m so very sorry she was loved and she loved us all. Such a gem of a lady I know my Ma her niece will miss her so much. We all will. I’ll never forget our memories. Love you all

  9. My deepest sympathies to Fay’s family. I met Fay at the DD board and we would talk about her love of dogs and her granddaughter’s love of horses. I miss her smile and all the great stories she would share with me. Miss you Fay.
