Janet Katherine Greenham, 85, of Wooster passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at West View Healthy Living.

Janet was born on July 23, 1938 in New Bavaria, OH to Rudolph and Regina Bauer Romes.  On August 2, 1958, she married Richard Greenham.  He preceded her in death on August 11, 2023.

She was a teacher aid for Wooster City Schools.  Janet stayed active by being on a bowling and golfing league team, she was a good seamstress.  Janet loved to travel with Richard. She enjoyed volunteering at People to People and helped service funeral lunches.

Surviving are her daughters Catherine Ann (William) Butzer of Marshallville, Judith Lynn (Chip) Way of Sterling and Mary Elizabeth (Lenny) Stark of Orrville; grandchildren Travis Butzer of Barberton, BrieAnn (Jon) Burke of PA and Allison (Tyler) Simcox of Uniontown; great-grandchild Bailey Butzer; sisters Louise Ann Ellerbrock, Marlene R. Shafer, Alice E. Heitmeyer; a brother Ronald J. Romes.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Egler.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster.  Father David Chojnacki officiating.

Inurnment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
