Howard Glenn Leeson, 93, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Sycamore Run Nursing Home.
He was born on June 13, 1930, in Fairmont, WV to Raymond and Blanche Leasure Leeson.
Howard served in the US Army for 20 years, which included the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. After his military service, he worked as a warehouse supervisor at Buehler’s for 20 years. Howard enjoyed spending his retirement in Florida because of the warm weather and getting to play horseshoes, and playing card games especially euchre. He was a former member of the Eagles in Wooster.
Howard is survived by his children Nancy Nichols of New Riegel, Mike Leeson, Paul Leeson, and Debbie (Herman) Angle all of Wooster; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and sisters Joyce Hamrick and Mona Murray.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his second wife Nancy Delmont Leeson; his last wife Mary Williams Quesinberry Leeson; grandson Brian Snyder; sisters Marie Miller, Rosetta Miller-Hamrick and Delores Booth; and a brother Russell Leeson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Davey Bowles officiating. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the service.
