Carolyn J. Buchholz, 88, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at West View Healthy Living.

She was born on June 8, 1935 in Alton, WV to Dorrel and Mona Wayts Wyatt.  On March 2, 1957 she married Bernard J. Buchholz.  He survives.

Carolyn was a homemaker.  She enjoyed baking, music, camping and traveling and especially loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.  She helped to run the family business.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Karen (Frank) Cardinallo of Mesa, AZ, Michael L. (Pamela) Buchholz of Wooster, Anne (Randy) Jenkins of Orrville, Lynn Buchholz of Wooster, and Jennifer (Nick) George of Apple Creek; grandchildren Ayn, Cameron, Wyatt, Chloe and Jessica; a great-grandchild Adaline; brothers Paul Marsh of Butler, Bill (Jill) Marsh of Hinkleville, WV, Larry (Kathy) Marsh of Myrtle Beach, SC and Terry Marsh of Lady Lake, FL.

She was preceded in death by her brother Clayton Wyatt; sisters Janet Byrd and Sandra Nelson.

A Service of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 1:30 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Father David Chojnacki officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
