“Together Again”

Sally Jo Cornelius, 76, of Loudonville passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at Divine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center formally Glendora Nursing Home.

She was born on January 30, 1947 in Wooster the daughter of Charles and Mary Hoover Rock.  On November 21, 1965, she married Gary Allen Cornelius.  He preceded her in death on November 3, 2020.

Sally babysat for several years and was a wonderful seamstress.  She enjoyed camping, going on golf cart rides and especially spending time and laughing with her family.

Sally is survived by her daughters Angela (Andy) Moore of Burbank and Michelle (Allen) Bush of Loudonville; grandchildren Jared Akin, Cory Akin, Jessica Bush, Daren Bush, Sierra (Shane) Eader, Dalen Moore, Jarrison Moore, Gibson Moore, Raelana Moore and Kaitlyn (Nick) Reynolds; great-grandchildren Cael, Reid, Madison and Harper Akin; sister Desi Arnette; brother John (Paula) Rock.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by grandchildren Drew and Kylee Bush; brother William Rock; sister Judy Snure.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Jeremiah Scadden officiating.  Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Friends will be received on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service.
