Deborah D. Scheibe, 74, of Wooster died on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare with her husband by her side.

She was born July 17, 1949 in Wooster to Harold E. and Jacqueline Santare Premer.  On May 27, 1967, she married her high school sweetheart, whom she met her freshman year at Triway High School, Marvin E. Scheibe.  He survives.

Deborah was a graduate of Triway High School and a licensed cosmetologist.  Along with her husband, she helped establish and operate the Hard Hat Restaurant in 1989 for six years. Deborah enjoyed garage sales, motorcycle riding, traveling, gardening, shopping and going to the casinos.  She especially enjoyed her dog Nikki and spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Landon.  Christmas was her favorite time of year.  She was a member of the GWRRA.  She will be deeply missed.

Along with her husband, Deborah is survived by her children Kimberly L. (Marion) Fillpot of Wooster and Mark E. (Francine Racioppo) Scheibe of Lakeville; grandson Landon B. Scheibe; brother David M. Premer of Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private graveside services will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the caring nurses, doctors and staff of Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare for all of their assistance.

  7. My condolences Marv, Kim and Mark. Deb was not just my neighbor, she was also a friend. I will miss our chats outside which would start out saying a quick hi but would turn into a 40 minute gab fest. Lol.

  14. So sorry to hear of the passing of Deb. She went through so much pain in this life, but always greeted you with a smile, and a positive attitude. She was a joyful person to be around. May she rest in peace, and pain free, in her new home in heaven. My sympathy to the family.
