Sandra “Sandy” J. Treece, 75, entered Heaven’s Gates on Christmas morning, December 25th, 2023 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

She was born to John and Arlene Switzer Case on March 4, 1948.

Sandy graduated from Triway High School and had worked for The Daily Record and Rubbermaid.  She retired from Certified Angus Beef where she enjoyed working with her coworkers.  She was a devoted member of Oak Chapel United Methodist Church where she played the piano, sang in the choir and crocheted prayer shawls.  Sandy was a 4-H advisor, chairman on the Relay for Life Committee, and participated in many Capers shows at Triway.  She had volunteered for the last several years at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster, spent many hours visiting people in nursing homes, and volunteered her time for many years as a poll worker for the Board of Elections.

Sandy is survived by her sons Bradley Clevidence of Wooster and Dan (Tina) Clevidence of Ashland; son-in-law Patrick Rickard of Wooster; brother Randy (Jackie) Case; grandchildren Alyssa and Daniel Clevidence; step granddaughter Ashley (Gary) Simpson-Cox; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her loving dog Lucy.

Along with her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Treece; brothers Jake Case and Timothy Case; beloved daughter Christy Clevidence Rickard.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Oak Chapel United Methodist Church 4203 W. Old Lincoln Way, Wooster with Pastor John Finn officiating.  Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or to Oak Chapel United Methodist Church, 4203 West Old Lincoln Way, Wooster, OH 44691.

Arrangements are under the direction of McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home.

  4. What a ray of sunshine ! Sandy always had a beautiful smile and a genuine laugh. When we were kids, our family’s spent a lot of Sunday afternoons together. Great memories . RIP Sandy

  6. What a sweet woman. I knew Sandra from Certified Angus Beef. Always smiling and handing out lip balms at Christmas time. After her retirement, I found her again at my polling place when I voted. She always showed kindness to everyone. She will be missed!!

  7. Sandra was an attentive and conscientious visitor with my 99 year old mother during my Mom’s last few months of life. May you find comfort in the memories of a such a compassionate lady.

  8. Dan and family….So sorry for your loss. Your mom was such a sweet woman who always had a smile on her face. She and my mom went to school together. They stand good friends threw out the years, I remember your grandpa (her dad) playing Santa Claus when I was little.

  11. I met your sister at a family Christmas cookie bake. She came in was very sweet and loving. I told her Tim and I sat on the together and laughed and enjoyed our trips to and from school. I am sorry for your loss Randy and family,May God hold Sandy Innis Loving arms. Till you meet again.

  13. We are so sorry to read that Sandy has passed.
    My sister Cheryl introduced me to her when they worked together in billing at Rubbermaid. Within the first few minutes they were cracking up to the point of tears over something silly. Sandy’s laugh is one I’ll never forget because just hearing it made me laugh. Her face was always a welcome sight at the fair as well.
    We wish you peace and comfort knowing she’s in God’s arms now.
