Sandy and Frank, I offer my condolences. I so grew up with John in Charleroi! I spent hours and hours with John at your home in Charleroi, at the pool room and we played hoops at the field across the tracks. I remember shooting with Frank and saying to myself “man is this dude huge!”… lol…So many memories and laughter…. I just loved to make John laugh and he made me feel good in how much HE cared about me. He made me HIS hero and little did he know HE WAS ACTUALLY MINE! It meant so much when I saw him at the reunions! Those were the times that it did make sense to reminisce – which was John’s love to do (Charleroi HS – 1967). I will all ways love him! – RIP my beloved friend! – Chuckie Compo
What amazing guy John was…So kind and always wanting to help and make others happy.

May I add another comment please? After the fact of my previous comment, I realized I did not include Gaylen in my condolences! Gaylen, you are the saint behind your loving brother! I have not seen you in years, but it was so obvious of your love and care for John, you were a loved “caregiver” of John. Please accept my apologies for not including you in my previous comments. You are a very loving and giving person. God Bless You. Chuckie Compo
