Twyla Faye Raby, 83, of Wooster passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

She was born on May 29, 1940 in Doylestown the daughter of Walter and Minnie Grossenbacher Sweigert.  On May 9, 1964, she married William “Bill” Raby.  He preceded her in death in 2020.

Twyla had worked at the Hawkins Cafeteria as a cook and she enjoyed bowling.

Surviving is her daughter Rachelle (Patrick) Provence of Wooster; grandchildren Ashley Provence and Michael Provence, Jr.; brothers James (Rosemarie) Sweigert and Vernon (Sue) Sweigert both of Florida; sister-in-law Dotti Udell of Wooster; brother-in-law Fred (Gloria) Ray of Ann Arbor; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, William she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Wayne Sweigert.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Daron Butler officiating.  Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
