Kimberly Fawn Dildine, 62, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at The Avenue of Wooster.

Kim was born March 13, 1961, in Wooster to James C. and Alice F. Mills Black.  On March 15, 1992, she married John W. Dildine.  He preceded her in death in 1993.

She previously waitressed, and worked in home child care.  Kim enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and collecting wind chimes.

She is survived by brothers Greg Black of Easley, SC, Acie Black of Wooster, and sister Teresa Putt of Wooster; aunt Deanna “Sug” Marks of Denton, NC; special friend Kenny Archer; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Along with her husband, Kim was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law John Putt, sister-in-law Robin Black, nephew Adam Black, and long-time companion Jeff Thompson.

Cremation has taken place with burial of cremains in the Jefferson Pioneer Cemetery.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  1. Condolences to Kim’s family and friends. I am sorry to hear of Kim’s passing. I have not seen her in many years. I have fond memories’ of her when her and my brother Bobby Jones dated many moons ago. All the fun and laughter we had together. I have often thought about her and where she might be.
