Lois M. Boley, 85, of Shreve passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at home with her family by her side.
She was born on April 17, 1938, in Wayne County to James Sr. and Marie Brown Moore. On February 4, 1953, she married Carl E. Boley Sr. He preceded her in death on February 22, 2001.
Lois worked for many years in at A.C.D.C., before opening her own foster home for the mentally challenged for over 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, collecting angels, and spending time with her family and her cats.
She is survived by her children Carl E. (Sang) Boley Jr. of Columbus, Deborah (Kim) Dye of Shreve, Michael J. (Candy) Boley of Orrville and Christina (Andrew) Coblentz of Wooster; brother James (Sandy) Moore Jr. of Wooster; grandchildren Teresa Badger, Linda Horne, Angela Hostetler and Andrea Beiler; great grandchildren Morgan and Mackenzie Badger, Taylor and Grant Horne, Kipton Yelton, Jaylen Hostetler and Stetson Beiler.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Mary Louise McCollough, Guy Moore, grandchildren Michael Boley Jr. and Amanda Boley.
A private family service will be held at their convenience. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Lois was a big part of my childhood, I think I was there as much as I was home. I’m so sorry for the family.
