Tony Lee McIntire, 66, of Wooster passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on November 21, 1957, in Fort Bragg, GA to Robert A. and Virginia May Boyes McIntire.

Tony was self employed as a painter.  He enjoyed model cars, helping his brother Robert and making everyone laugh.  Tony was also a Ping Pong champion.

As a way to honor Tony find a way to pay it forward as he did for many others.

He is survived by his children Tony L. McIntire Jr., Joe A. McIntire Heather A. McIntire Metheney, Angie M. Layfield, Roth P. McIntire and Raymond K. (Katrina) McIntire; grandchildren Zoey, Braxton, Kaleb, Cailen, Kaden, Kamden, Khalil, and Collin McIntire; girlfriend Heather McDougal; siblings Robert A. McIntire, Allen W. McIntire, Debbie ( Bradley ) Bennett and Cass Duncan.  Along with many nieces and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Diane Miller and Kenny McIntire.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare for their care and support.

There will be no services at this time.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
