Betty R. Wickham, 83, of Loudonville, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on April 21, 1940, in Loudonville, to Ilo Donald and Margaret R. Juergens Mosher.  On June 26, 1960 she married Robert W. Wickham, he preceded her in death on December 13, 1992.

Betty was a 1958 graduate of Loudonville High School. She worked as an office administrator for McIntire, Davis & Greene and McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Homes for 38 years, where she retired in 2022. She had previously worked for Jewell Motor Parts for 24 years. Betty was a member of the Lakeville Fire Department Auxiliary, Loudonville Jaycees and a 4-H advisor.  She enjoyed sewing and watching her children’s and grandchildren’s activities.

Betty is survived by her daughters Debra (Stu) Danals of Loudonville, Patty Garrett of Wooster and Cherryl (Bob) Young of Loudonville; grandchildren Brandon Danals, Brandt (Allie Walsh) Danals, Logan (Olivia Schlabach) Garrett, Austin (Sierra Goolsby) Young and Morgan (Seth Cooper) Young; great grandchildren Dilyn Danals and Blakely Cooper; and a sister Alice (John) Schopfer of Loudonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son in law Craig Garrett, siblings Edward Mosher and John Mosher.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 3:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster with Father Stephen Moran officiating.  Private burial will be held in the Loudonville Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

  9. So sorry for your loss. She was a very kind and lovely lady. Was always so kind and helpful when I needed her at McIntires. I have missed her since since she left Mcintires.
