Margaret “Peg” Persinger passed away on Thursday, April 11th at the Wayne County Care Center with her Family by her side.

She was born on 12/20/1923 In McHenry Kentucky, she moved to Wooster in 1944 with her family.

Most that knew her, knew she lived a very simple lifestyle and that her family was most important to her.

She married Kenneth L. “Kenny” Persinger in 1947 who passed away in 1978.

Also preceding her death were her parents Charles and Stella Beasley McDaniel and sibling’s, Charles (Wilda) McDaniel, Harry (Marjean) McDaniel and Freda (Bob) Derkovich.

Surviving are her two daughters Lynda (Dave) Geitgey and Sue (Dwight) Boss.

Granddaughters Morgan (Brandon) Martin, Madeline (Brian) Kuerbitz. Jenna (Dillon) Wipert, Matt (Katie) Geitgey, Adam (Lacye) Geitgey. Great Grandchildren Kyler and Aisley Martin, Adalynn and Nash Geitgey, Lyla and Lexi Geitgey and Torrie Kuerbitz.

Also, two great granddaughters on the way. Many nieces, nephews and Great nieces and nephews.

We would like to send our forever appreciation to the Wayne County Care Center staff for their wonderful care and love they had for our mom over the 7 years.

You truly became family to us, and we will forever be grateful to you all.

Private family graveside service will be held.

  5. It was a pleasure getting to know and work with Peg!! I will miss her soo much ! Even though she didn’t like going to therapy but always loved it afterwards . I will miss our little inside jokes ! My condolences to the family ! She was an amazing lady !
