Gary L. Carnahan, 75, of Wooster passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Rose Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation in Massillon.

He was born on September 25, 1948 to John W. and Harriet Evans Carnahan.

Gary proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam.  Gary had owned Buckeye Tree Care for 25 years and had previously worked in the oil fields.  Gary loved fishing golfing, rolling dice, sports and was an avid Brown’s fan.  Gary was loved by all.

He is survived by a daughter Mona Lisa Carnahan of Kentucky; grandchildren Timmy Michael, and Bradley; great granddaughter Presley; a sister Sherry Brooks of Wooster and many nieces and nephews.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, a son Gary W. Carnahan, siblings John A. Carnahan and Linda Vanover.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster is assisting the fmaily.

Contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff of Rose Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation for all of their wonderful care and support of Gary.
